The new site is a fun environment created to meet the needs of students, teachers and parents, according to a city of Santa Clarita news release.
This learning-inspired resource provides current Library resources and information that is user-friendly for parents of babies and toddlers, preschoolers, elementary school-age kids, home school families and teachers.
Not only is the new Kids’ Space website easy to navigate, but it now includes reading lists, databases and websites for homework, games, events at each Library branch, catalogs and much more, officials said in a statement.
The site also includes more reading lists for children of all ages that are linked to the Santa Clarita Public Library’s catalog, which was something parents requested.

“The city is committed to providing youth and their families with the resources they need to be academically successful,” said Santa Clarita Mayor Laurene Weste. “The Kids’ Space website is a great way to engage young readers by making learning fun and easily accessible.”
Users can also stay connected to all Santa Clarita Public Library happenings, including events and programming, important notifications, and educational tips through the website’s Blog.
Children of all ages and teachers will be able to use the Kid’s Space website as a digital platform to find valuable information.
