Santa Clarita Heart Walk To Be Held Saturday At Westfield Town Center
The number one killer of Americans is heart disease. On Saturday, Oct. 26, the American Heart Association will host the 2013 Greater Los Angeles County Heart Walk at Westfield Valencia Town Center to help fund heart disease education and research.
Oscar Dominguez, vice president of Union Bank, recently hosted a meet-and-greet for community members and representatives of the American Heart Association at the Newhall Branch of Union Bank.
“I want to help them get the word out about the Walk,” Dominguez said.
Union Bank is the “Local My Heart. My Life. Sponsor.”
The Santa Clarita event is one of seven Walks that make up the 2013 Greater Los Angeles County Heart Walk. Walks have already been held in Palmdale, Pomona, Pasadena and downtown. Walks in Santa Monica and Long Beach will be held in November.

Other activities at the Expo will include the opportunity to learn about your heart health with free CPR demonstrations and blood pressure screenings. Guests will also have the opportunity to pay tribute to loved ones at the Wall of Hope.
Expo sponsor booths will offer a variety of goodies.
