Circle Of Hope “Run For Their Lives”

When:  Saturday, April 5 from 7:30am-2pm, walk starts at 9am
Where:  Castaic Lake, Lower Lagoon, 32132 Castaic Lake Drive, Castaic 
Details:  The Circle of Hope “Run For Their Lives” is more than a 5K Run.  The day also includes a Family Fun Zone, People’s Choice Car Show, food & refreshments, vendors, and more.  The Family Fun Zone requires a purchase wristband and includes rock climbing wall, bounce house, inflatable basketball hoops, face painting, and other activities.  The People’s Choice Car Show takes place along the 5K route.  Over 30 vendors have signed up for the event offering goods and services.  You can register your dog for the walk, too.  Circle Of Hope provides financial, emotional, and educational support for breast cancer patients, and their families, here in the Santa Clarita Valley.  More information and registration is available online.

Self-Hypnosis Seminar “Re-Train Your Brain”

City Of Santa Clarita CERT Training

When:  Thursday, April 3 – seven consecutive Thursdays from 6-9pm each Thursday
Where:  City’s Transit Maintenance Facility, 28250 Constellation Road
Details:  The City of Santa Clarita is offering CERT – Community Emergency Response Training.  This training is a nationally certified course designed to help families, neighborhoods, schools and businesses to prepare for emergency/disaster responses through training and preplanning.  The course includes:  fire suppression/utility control, light search & rescue, triage, medical operations, incident command, terrorism, psychological first aid, and disaster preparedness.  Each class is three hours long.  The cost is $30 for course materials and equipment.  More information and registration is available online.   

Canyon Theatre Guild “Damn Yankees”

Agua Dulce Women’s Club “Friday Night Fish Fry”
