Magic Mountain is offering free admission to the park on the weekends of Dec. 7-8 and 14-15 for anyone who brings an unwrapped toy worth $20 or more.

Suggestions include stuffed animals, puzzles, games or playsets. Dirty or broken toys, open puzzles and toy guns will not be accepted. Guests can also donate books, CDs, DVDs and video games but these are not considered toys and will not earn a free ticket.

Six Flags Magic Mountain has been holding toy drives for more than 27 years, collecting more than 500,000 toys for local children through the Boys and Girls Club of Southern California and other local charities.

"The demand for toys is greater than it’s ever been as the number of underprivileged children in the Southland continues to grow,” said Bonnie Rabjohn, Magic Mountain park president. “We’re calling for all Southern Californians to contribute to the toy drive and help make this holiday season brighter for children of all ages and backgrounds."

The free admission with a toy donation includes full park access, including Magic Mountain’s 18 roller coasters and other attractions and dining options, such Bugs Bunny World and DC Universe.

Currently, the Magic Mountain is open weekends and select holidays, including Nov. 25 - Dec. 1 and Dec. 21 - Jan. 5, 2014 (except Christmas Day). For operating days and hours, call 661-255-4111 or visit Six Flags online.
