Walker was driving southbound in the northbound lanes of Highway 14 during rush hour, when he struck several cars, starting a chain reaction that involved nine vehicles. Eleven people were injured, four of them seriously.

Walker suffered lacerations in the crash, according to the California Highway Patrol. He was treated for his injuries, and booked into the CHP's Newhall station.

He pleaded no contest on Aug. 19 the the four counts.

Judge Michael O’Gara imposed the maximum sentence on Walker at the San Fernando Courthouse, according to a statement released by the D.A.’s Office.

Deputy District Attorney Ani Bailey of the San Fernando Branch Office prosecuted the case.
