Performing Arts Center Music Series Continues With Unique Instrumentalist

Chancellor’s Choice Series continues Sept. 11 at College of the Canyons’ performing arts center with ukulele player Jake Shimabukuro.

Shimabukuro is said to have redefined the ukulele and has been declared a musical hero by “Rolling Stone”.

The young instrumentalist has also earned praises from musician Eddie Vedder and blogger Perez Hilton.

Shimabukuro has performed live on “Jimmy Kimmel” and “Conan”, and he has also played for the Queen of England.

The performance at College of the Canyons will begin at 7 p.m.

Tickets are available starting at $30.
