Pedestrian Not Seriously Hurt After Hit By Car In Saugus

Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies are investigating a vehicle versus pedestrian collision in Saugus on Wednesday, according to Lt. Randy Harris of the Sheriff’s Station.

A man was crossing the street at Avenida Rancho Tesoro, near Copper Hill Drive, around 5 p.m., when he was struck by a motorist.

The pedestrian, whose identity was not released, is not believed to have sustained serious injuries.

Drugs and alcohol are not suspected to be a factor in the crash, and the driver was not taken into custody.

The victim was transported to the hospital, and the cause of the crash is under investigation by deputies from the Traffic Unit of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
