UPDATE: None Hurt In Newhall House Fire That Displaced Family

A family was displaced after a fire was discovered in their attic Saturday morning, reported L.A. County Fire Department officials.

"Fire was dispatched at 1:58 a.m. and was knocked down by 2:21 a.m.," said Art Marrujo, Dispatch Supervisor for the L.A. County Fire Dept.

It is still unknown as to what caused the fire said Marrujo.

"We received a call of a bedroom fire of a 2 story family dwelling where residents were evacuating, we sent everyone available and called edison and gas to contain the fire as quickly as possible."
