One of the victims was stabbed in the neck in a robbery attempt, and she is being treated at a local hospital, according to Sheriff’s Station officials.

Sheriff’s Station officials have only released the race, sex and approximate age of the two men accused of the crimes, which took place in Newhall and Valencia.

In the first incident, the pair of 17- to 20-year-olds held a knife to a woman in her 60s, demanded her purse, and then, after she refused to cooperate, the victim was stabbed.

The suspects are then believed to have attempted a robbery of two teenagers walking down the street in Valencia.

The teenagers apparently were able to flee without getting hurt or losing any property, and then reported the crime to Sheriff’s Station deputies.

In another incident, the suspects then robbed two other teenagers at knife point.

The suspects took both of their cellphones and other items, such as a wallet.

In the last two robberies, no one was hurt.

The incidents are being investigated by detectives with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, and because it’s an active investigation, no additional information is being released at this time, including information about the suspects.

The incidents are not believed to be related to several armed robberies of gas stations that have taken place over the last six weeks, which are being investigated by the Santa Clarita Valley’s Sheriff’s Station’s Career Offenders Buglary Robberies and Assault team.
