KHTS Ready For Santa Clarita Valley Football Teams To Take The Field

In 1963, “The Andy Williams Christmas Album”was released.

On side one of that album was a song claiming Christmas was, “the most wonderful time of the year.”

While many people agree with that, football fans may beg to differ.

Autumn is when the leaves change, we are rewarded with cool weather after a tough bout with the summer heat and the Friday night lights brighten the dark skies at the end of the week.

All of the summer months spent running wind sprints and playing in seven-on-seven tournaments are over.

Now is the time for teams to buckle up their chinstraps, get out to the gridiron and prove who is the best team in the Foothill League.

Fall is the time when Santa Clarita Valley residents flock to local high schools to support their team.

Canyon, Golden Valley, Hart, Saugus, Valencia and West Ranch are all competing to be the king of the Foothill League.

AM 1220 KHTS is going to have all of the coverage of the High School and College of the Canyons Football live each week.

We will be broadcasting our KHTS Foothill League Game of the Week each Friday, and also be broadcasting all of the COC home games.
