Since 2010, the City of Santa Clarita has partnered with Waste Management and the Salvation Army to offer a clothing recycling program.

Residents are encouraged to donate gently used clothes and shoes where they can still be put to good use, instead of adding to a landfill.

To donate clothing, visit the Salvation Army Drop Box, at the Waste Management yard on Springbrook Road, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays, and Saturdays until noon.

Residents with Waste Management trash service can also call customer service at 661-259-2398 to schedule a free pick-up.

For more recycling opportunities, visit GreenSantaClarita.com or call 661-286-4098.
