Kaiser Permanente Panorama City Now Accepting Grant Applications For 2013

The Kaiser Permanente Panorama City Medical Center Area is accepting applications for its Community Benefit Grants Program now until 4 p.m., March 20. The Community Benefit Grant is available to non-profits who address the health needs of vulnerable populations in the East San Fernando, Santa Clarita and Antelope Valleys.Specifically, applicant organizations should focus their efforts on providing the disadvantaged with access to healthcare and insurance, prevention and education about chronic diseases and obesity prevention.

Organizations who have already received a grant will only be considered for a renewal if they are in good standing with Kaiser Permanente, and have turned in all forms and reports for previous grants in a timely manner.

Requests for funding from international, social or recreational clubs will not be considered, including sports teams, religious groups and individuals.
