It’s a great way to meet business representatives from a variety of industries, in person, at the same place, and within a short period of time. It is an opportunity to impress employers with your personal presentation and appearance, and to ask them questions regarding their needs, their company, and their industry.
Job Fairs may provide you with multiple “mini interviews”, so remember to bring enough copies of your resume, dress professionally, and come prepared to sell your skills and ask questions.
You may visit Career Services during our open office hours for assistance with your resume, interviewing, and advisement. Parking will be free in any student lot for these events.
The COC Canyon Country Campus will be presenting more than 30 registered employers such as Aerotek, AT&T, DeVry University, ITT Technical Institute, The Art Institute of California, the California National Guard, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, College of the Canyons Career Services and Internships (CWEE) and KHTS AM 1220 to name just a few attendees.
They will also be hosting Job Fair Workshops; “HOW TO BE PROACTIVE IN YOUR JOB SEARCH” at 11:30 AM presented by Myriam-Rose Kohn, President of Jeda Enterprises and “FIRST IMPRESSIONS: HOW TO NAIL ANY INTERVIEW” at 12:30 PM presented by Tommy Musa, District Manager of Vector Marketing. Both Workshops will be held in room 202-A.
