Helicopter Fly Over Memorial For Valencia Resident David Gibbs
The “KHTS AM 1220” Facebook page was bursting with questions from our neighbors regarding information on six helicopters that were seen hovering over Soledad Canyon rd. and Whites Canyon rd. in Santa Clarita Saturday afternoon.
The helicopters many of our neighbors saw were from an aircraft memorial for David Gene Gibbs, 59, of Valencia, who was among the victims of a helicopter crash that killed three men in Acton on Sunday Feb. 10.
“The helicopter fly over was part of a service memorializing Gibbs at Real Life Church.” said Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Dept. Officials.

Gibbs was part of a three man filming crew on board a helicopter who were killed when that helicopter crashed at the Polsa Rosa Ranch in Acton.
