Green Thumb International hosted its annual “Halloween Opening” on Saturday morning.
“Department 56” is the main attraction, according to employees. It is an elaborate miniature Halloween village.
The miniature display features current and newly introduced Halloween themed buildings with moving parts, noise and some with real fog.
“Halloween is getting bigger and bigger,” said one Green Thumb employee.
The store sells all of the Halloween decorations you could need, including “vampire flamingos,” skulls with princess crowns, and various kinds of moving ghosts, ghouls and bats that fly and make noise when you walk past the motion sensor.
