Golden Valley High School junior Eliyah Linell died suddenly over the weekend.  The exact cause of death has not been released.

Linell was an active member of the Golden Valley band, anchor of the GVTV daily news broadcast class and carried a 2.84 GPA.

“He loved Disney, was always smiling, and had a kind heart,” wrote video production teacher Charles Deuschle in an e-mail to SCVNews.com.   “(He) never said a bad word about anyone. Our production class nicknamed him Eliyah ‘The Lion’ Linell.”

Memorial arrangements are pending.
