Feline Center Offers Twilight Tours Of Wild Cat Compound

The Exotic Feline Breeding Compound (EFBC) Feline Conservation Center will host the first of three Twilight Tours of the year on Saturday, April 27. The Conservatory Center invites guests to visit during evening hours that day to learn more about wild cats and find out what they do at night.

This Twilight Tour will be the first evening debut of one of EFBC’s newest resident, a Malayan Tiger. Among the evenings activities is when “toys” are give to the felines to pique their interest, as well as provide amusing entertainment for the center’s visitors. Visitors are welcome to bring cameras and video equipment, and felines not ordinarily on exhibit to the general public will be available for viewing. The Lancaster Rotary will provide Bar-B-Cue, a variety of sweet treats will be available at the Zoo Keeper bake sale, and guests will also have a chance to win a variety of items at the Raffle.

The Twilight Tours are an integral part of EFBC’s public awareness and educational programs to promote endangered species preservation and conservation. Visitors have a chance to see one of the world’s largest collections of rare wild feline species during their most active period and are witness to animal behaviors not ordinarily seen during normal zoo experiences.

Doors for the April 27 event open at 5:30 p.m. Admission is $20 per person. The event is oipen to Adults 18 years of age only with no exceptions. Advance Tickets are available by contacting EFBC directly for purchase.
