To coincide with the fair, new City Manager, Ken Striplin will be presented a book Thursday on his family history, going back a number of generations. The presentation will be in Mr. Striplin’s office. Mayor Bob Kellar, whose history was also researched a few years ago, plans to attend.
“What a wonderful event to learn how to research incredible facts about your family history. This is an exciting opportunity for our community,” Kellar said. “I encourage everyone interested in family research to attend (the fair).”
Pre-registration is available here, and boxed lunches are available for preorder at $5.50. A laptop computer is recommended but not required. Click here to access class worksheet PDFs.
