Santa Clarita WorkSource Center To Host Recruitment Event

The Santa Clarita WorkSource Center officials are expected to host a free H&R Block Seasonal Recruitment event on Friday, Aug. 21 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the University Center in College of the Canyon’s Valencia campus, according to a news release.

Event officials will seek to employ office managers, tax professionals and part-time and seasonal associates to fill several open positions at H&R Block, officials said.

H&R Block is the world’s largest tax service provider, according to their website.

The company has provided more than 650,000,000 tax returns since the company’s founding in 1955 and owns more than 12,000 retail offices across the nation.

The recruitment event is focused on filling positions at a variety of locations in Santa Clarita, as well as in Palmdale and Lancaster.

Competitive wages available with H&R Block will vary depending on the assignment and additional incentives including ongoing training, flexible hours and advancement opportunities.

Jobseekers are encouraged to arrive on time, dress to impress and have multiple copies of their resume available and be prepared for onsite interviews.

Bilingual applicants and applicants with previous sales experience are preferred, but these qualities are not required.

Registration for the event is required.
