Deputies Respond To False Alarm; No Gun At MacMillan Ranch

A report of a man with a gun near Sand Canyon and Warm Springs roads turned out to be a false alarm, a Sheriff’s Station official said Monday.

“As far as I know, nobody got arrested, so it had to be a movie prop,” said Lt. Tom Bryski of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

A call was put out around noon regarding a possible weapon near MacMillan Ranch, near where filming was taking place.
