Deputies Investigating Valencia Collision After Teen Hits 15-year-old

SHERIFF’S STATION NEWS RELEASE
Deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a vehicle vs. bicyclist traffic collision Wednesday at the intersection of Fairview Place and Waterford Drive in Valencia .

The 15-year-old bicyclist, who was not wearing his helmet, was transported to a local area hospital where he is listed in critical condition. The 17-year-old driver of the SUV was not injured. 

The incident is currently under investigation by detectives assigned to the Santa Clarita Valley Station Traffic Office.
