“I am ecstatic and especially proud that we won in such a wide range of categories,” said Sundial Editor In Chief Ashley Soley-Cerro. “Our staff works incredibly hard because they are passionate about what they do, and I think it showed through their work.”

In each of the 19 categories, the Sundials’ student-employees won either a first-, second- or third-place award. The nominees find out this weekend where they placed.

Soley-Cerro also works for KHTS AM-1220 as a freelance writer and reporter.

Soley-Cerro recently covered the city’s Earth Arbor Day, when more than 6,000 turned out locally for a city event.
