A Canyon Country woman reported missing by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials was found out of state Monday around 8:30 p.m., according to Santa Clarita Vally Sheriff’s Station officials.

Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department asked for the public’s assistance Monday in locating a missing person.
“She was found in Las Vegas, just about a half hour ago,” said Lt. Tom Bryski of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. “They notoified her parents and they notified our Homicide Bureau, and all is well.”
The missing person, Nicollette Amber Lucia, was last seen at the 26000 block of Neff Court in the city of Canyon Country, on Friday at 3:30 am.
She was found by Las Vegas Police Department police officers. The woman was 26, but family members were concerned for her safety.
“She’s been seen frequently in Lancaster and the Santa Clarita Valley area,” according to a Sheriff’s Department deputy with the Headquarters Bureau.
Information provided by the Sheriff’s Department described her as 5’2″, 170 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes.
No other information was available, the deputy said.
The report is being investigated by a detective with the Missing Persons Bureau of the Homicide Unit, which handles all such reports.
She was last seen wearing a purple flannel shirt and blue jeans.
Her family is very concerned and is also asking for the public’s assistance.
