The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station officials released the crime reports for the week of June 23 through June 29 for Canyon Country, Castaic/ Val Verde, Newhall, Saugus and Stevenson Ranch.

Two men were found dead in Pyramid Lake, a lieutenant from Valencia was convicted by a federal jury and a man was arrested after exposing himself at the Valencia mall.
An overturned boat was found Sunday at Pyramid Lake with one person confirmed dead, officials from the Los Angeles County Fire Department said. Sheriff's Department officials recovered a second person, the body of a Baldwin Park man on Wednesday, who has been missing since a fatal boating trip at Pyramid Lake on Sunday.
A Santa Clarita Valley man is still in custody Monday on charges he exposed himself at the Valencia mall, where he was arrested by Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station deputies.

Deputies will be out between now and July 4th strongly enforcing this code with the first offence being a fine of $500 and the second offence being $1000.
As an alternative to using illegal fireworks enjoy the fireworks celebration at the Westfield Valencia Town Center.

An assault with a deadly weapon occurred near the intersection of Sierra Highway and Friendly Valley Parkway. Two vehicles were involved in a minor traffic collision. When the victim stepped out of their vehicle to assess the damage, the suspect sped off. In doing so, the victim was struck and drug along the concrete for a short distance. The suspect was caught and arrested. The victim suffered minor injuries. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
A commercial burglary occurred near the 18600 block of Soledad Canyon Road. The suspect attempted to gain access to the business with a pick axe. The suspect never gained access into the location. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
An assault with a deadly weapon occurred near the 16500 block of Fairglade Street. This incident started during a neighbor dispute over one property owner building an addition to a wall. During the dispute one neighbor threw a beer bottle at the victim hitting him in the head. This incident is being investigated by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
A residential burglary and grand theft auto occurred near the 14000 block of Arches Lane. In this incident the victim came home from vacation and saw that his garage had been broken into. When he looked in his garage he discovered that his 1969 Camaro was stolen. The car is described as black with two silver stripes. A vehicle burglary occurred near the 29000 block of Lilyglen Drive. The victim’s rear passenger window was shattered and her lap top and purse was stolen from the vehicle.
A grand theft occurred near the 27100 block of Langside Avenue. The suspect stole the victims "UPS" packages from the front patio of the residence. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
A vehicle burglary occurred near the intersection of Delight Street and Honby Avenue. Deputies received a call of a suspicious person tampering with vehicles in the area. When they arrived on scene they observed a person rummaging around inside a vehicle. After a short investigation, they determined the person did not have permission to be in that vehicle. The suspect was arrested for burglary. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
Castaic/ Val Verde
A robbery occurred in Val Verde off of Sheridan Road and San Martinez. The victim was knocked to the ground during a verbal confrontation. The suspect took his wallet and removed all his cash. The suspect then told the victim to get cash from the local ATM. The victim, fearing for his safety, withdrew $100 at the nearby liquor store and gave it to the suspect.
A theft by fraud was reported by a Castaic resident. After sending a check for $2400 for a trailer bought off of the internet, the victim did not receive her purchased item within the delivery period.
A 1960 Chevy El Camino was broken into while parked in the 2800 block of The Old Road. The owner reported damage to the glove box inside the car.
On Saturday the 28th, a 32 year old male was arrested near Newhall Avenue and Meadowridge Drive after an incident with his estranged wife. The male was booked at Santa Clarita Station and is scheduled to appear in court.
Also on Saturday the 28th, deputies were assisted by California Highway Patrol and arrested a 24 year old male near Wiley Canyon and Fourl Road, for taking a vehicle without the owner's consent.
A burglary occurred on Friday the 27th, between 9:45 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. in the 24200 block of Bamboo Drive. Electronics and a passport were stolen.
Between Thursday the 26th at 8:00 p.m., and Friday the 27th at 7:30 a.m., a business being renovated in the 23400 block of Lyons Avenue was burglarized. Construction equipment including a generator and power tools were stolen.
A wallet and a car stereo were stolen from a vehicle in the 25000 block of Walnut Street between Monday the 23rd and Tuesday the 24th.
On Monday the 23rd, a 24 year old female was detained by store security for shoplifting in the 23400 block of Lyons Avenue. The female was transported to Santa Clarita Station by the Sheriff's Department, where she was booked for petty theft and later released with a citation.
There was a commercial burglary in the 26500 block of Bouquet Canyon Road on June 24th. The suspect broke the front glass to the business and stole multiple bb-guns. The suspect later committed an assault with a deadly weapon by shooting the bb-gun at patrons at a restaurant in Valencia. Deputies were able to locate the suspect who was arrested without incident.
A second commercial burglary was reported in the 26500 block of Bouquet Canyon Road on June 28th. The suspect smashed the front door window and stole multiple items of jewelry. The suspect was later arrested without incident.
A vehicle was stolen from the parking lot in the 22100 block of Soledad Canyon Road on June 24th. The victim's Toyota pick-up was stolen sometime throughout the evening. Deputies are attempting to locate the vehicle.
There was a petty theft reported in the 26800 block of Bouquet Canyon Road on June 28th. The victim had his lawn cutting equipment stolen from in front of the location while working on the grass. The victim was able to get some suspect information. Detectives are following up on the case.
A vehicle burglary occurred near the 25300 block of The Old Road. An unknown suspect shattered the front passenger window of the victim's vehicle and took miscellaneous personal items.
A grand theft occurred near the 25300 block of The Old Road. An unknown suspect took a catalytic converter from a 2002 Toyota Sienna.
Deputies conducting patrol checks near the 25300 block of The Old Road arrested a male and a female suspect. Charges included Possession of a Controlled Substance and Receiving Stolen Property.
There were 5 incidents of shoplifting near the 25400 block of The Old Road resulting in four arrests. Charges included petty theft and burglary.
