City Announces ‘cArt aRt’ Winners From Earth-Arbor Day Fest

Several community members helped judge in the City’s cArt aRt contest April 13 at the annual Earth Arbor Day Festival.

Grand Prize Winner “Recycle Robot”

The contest involved transforming recycling carts into vibrant pieces of art using paint, art supplies, recycled items and creativity to increase awareness of reusing and recycling household items.

All submissions were on display at the festival and received cash prizes, here are the winners in the following categories:* Grand Prize – “Recycle Robot” by Green Convergence* Most Creative – “My Home is Not a Recycling Bin” by Funakoshi Family* Best Local Flair – “Honoring Creation’s Blessings” by Family Community Church* Best Green Theme – “My Home is Not a Recycling Bin” by Funakoshi Family*.
