CHP Officers Find Abandoned Vehicle That Rolled 150 Feet Over Side Of Road

California Highway Patrol officers are investigating a traffic collision near Lake Hughes Road and the main ramp to Castaic Lake, involving a car over the side of the road.

CHP officers responded at around 5:40 a.m. Friday morning to find an abandoned  vehicle that had come off of Lake Hughes Rd., rolled approximately 150 feet down the side of the hill and came to rest on the main boat ramp on the east side of the lake, according to Sgt. Paul Reyes.

The vehicle was retrieved, and CHP officers are still investigating the incident and who the vehicle might belong to.
