The Child and Family Center is presenting a “Parenting Teens and Tweens” workshop on Tuesday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Canyon Country Community Center on Flying Tiger Drive.

The event is free and open to parents who would like to learn about the changes their child is going through, why their relationship with their child might be changing and how to guide them through the tween and teen years while keeping peace in the house.

CFC Therapist Soraya Avalos will be speaking on topics such as developmental milestones, social and emotional development of tweens and teens, family communication tips and ways to empower tweens and teens.
