Canyon Country Author And Gardening Expert To Hold Book Signing

With spring just around the corner, it’s almost time to start planting a garden, but do you wonder which plants will fare best in a Southern California climate?

Canyon Country gardening expert and owner of Gates & Croft Horticultural Design Jane Gates will be at Barnes and Noble in Valencia on Saturday, March 30 at 12 p.m. to answer gardening questions and sign her book “All the Garden’s a Stage: Choosing the Best Performing Plants for a Sustainable Garden.”

“All the Garden’s a Stage” offers unique and creative ways to grow a beautiful garden – with a new slant on garden tips for different areas of your landscape. In addition to doing hundreds of landscape designs, Gates is the National Landscape and Garden Expert for eHow.com and a specialist on inland chaparral gardening in our area. 

Gates will be a featured speaker this year at the Northwest Flower and Garden Show in Seattle and the Southern California Spring Garden Show in Orange County. She loves sharing horticultural knowledge and insights with passionate gardeners of all levels.
