The three 19-year-old victims of Friday’s fatal Rowher Flats crash have been identified by officials with the county’s Coroner’s Office.

Jake Gnasso, April Townsend and Ian Bulbenko, of Burbank, were killed and two passengers were injured when a truck went down a 200-foot embankment off Rush Canyon Truck Trail near West Sierra Highway, said Lt. David Smith of the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s, Fire and California Highway Patrol officials responded to the crash around 7 a.m. Friday.

Gnasso, Townsend and Bulbenko were declared dead at the scene. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Search and Rescue Team helped officials with the Coroner’s Office recover the bodies.

Two passengers, both 19-year-old men from Burbank, were airlifted to area hospitals, one with life-threatening injuries and another with minor injuries. They were wearing seatbelts, according to the CHP report.

Drugs and alcohol were not eliminated as a contributing factor in the crash at the time of the report.
