Derived from the Toyota Production System, lean manufacturing is a production practice that avoids the wasteful expenditure of resources for any goal other than the creation of end customer value.
“In discussing lean manufacturing, Don brings perspective and insight that’s helpful from the factory floor to professional offices,” said CEO and President of VIA Kathy Norris. “There will be something helpful for all types of businesses. He’ll discuss improving workforce engagement, creating significant process improvements and benefiting one’s business where it matters – the bottom line.”
There will be a question-and-answer period after Copeland’s presentation and a sponsor spotlight presentation by KHTS AM-1220.
Reservations are required: $40 by April 5, $45 by April 11, and $50 after April 11. Those who attend without a reservation will pay an additional $10. To make a reservation call the VIA office at 661-294-8088 or click here.
