    Circle Of Hope Offers Dozens Of Wines For Vine 2 Wine Event

    Circle of Hope’s 13th annual Vine 2 Wine Classic officials posted a list of some of the wines offered at the Santa Clarita Valley’s premiere wine event, which will accompany dozens of beers and food offerings, event organizers said. CalArts’ campus is transforming into the place to be from 6:30-10:30 p.m. on Aug. 16, said Ray Tippet, executive director for the Circle of Hope. On the Circle of Hope’s Facebook page, the nonprofit’s volunteers gave a sneak peak at a few of the vineyards offering unlimited tastings as part of the $75 presale or $95 at the gate ticket, including: Opolo Vineyards; J.     Painter Holding Art Exhibit Fundraiser For Alzheimer’s Foundation In Valencia

    A 93-year-old painter is planning an art exhibit in Valencia to raise funds for a cause that is very personal to him, the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, event officials announced Saturday.

    Irwin Weiner is set to display his paintings available for sale at the Sunrise Sterling Canyon Retirement Villa August 15 through 17 in honor of his wife of more than 40 years, who was recently diagnosed with early onset Alzeheimer’s, according to a news release.
