Golden Oak Adult School’s Go Jazz Big Band prepares for a night of food and music.
The Golden Oak Adult School is tuning up for their Go Jazz Big Band Concert to be held Mar. 14 at 7:30 p.m.at West Ranch High School.

Directed by Bob Babko, the concert is expected to take place in West Ranch’s Performing Arts Center and doors should open at 7:00 p.m. In addition to the live music, food will be offered during intermission.
The band typically performs songs from well-known artists including Buddy Rich; Blood, Sweat & Tears; Stan Kenton; Earth, Wind & Fire; Stevie Wonder and the Beatles and according to a recording from the band’s phone line.

The band’s next two performances after West Ranch will be outside of the area, according to the recording.
Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for students and those 60 and older. They are available at the door or through will call.
