Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce officials will be discussing how the new Affordable Health Care for America Act – aka Obamacare will affect the people when it takes effect in 2014.
The main question has been, “When can adults with pre-existing problems switch to another plan?” said Chamber CEO Terry K.Crain.“I’m looking forward to this event and hoping i’ts helpful for everyone, very much looking to put on a quality experience.”
Hyatt Regency Valencia is hosting the Thursday meeting which starts at 11:30 a.m, when a panel of experts will answer questions people have about the upcoming changes.

Haley Weiner of L/B/W Insurance & Financial Services Inc. will be on hand to field insurance-related questions, Brian Koegle of Poole & Shaffery LLP will handle the legal aspects and Joan BUck-Plassmeyer of Los Robles Homecare Service Inc. will address the issue from the service provider’s viewpoint.
