This free family-oriented event is scheduled for Saturday from 8:40 a.m. to 1 p.m., at 24443 McBean Parkway in Valencia. The dress is casual and light refreshments will be served.
Last year was the first SCV Marriage and Family Conference with at least 200 people attending.
The keynote address from 12-1 pm will be “Becoming One in Marriage,” with speakers: Elder Jerry and Sister Mary Lynn Garns. Parents and grandparents who have been frequently relied upon to counsel individuals in their marriages, the Garns will be sharing on how we each can apply in today’s world the biblical mandate to “become one” in marriage. Jerry Garns is also an Area Authority Seventy in the LDS Church.
