Debbie and John Heys moved to the Santa Clarita Valley in 1988, looking for a safe environment with good schools for their family.  Their two boys, Dale and John Junior, fit quickly into school life with their mother involved every step of the way.  Today, with four grandchildren, Debbie continues her tradition of school volunteeringHer commitment to helping children led Debbie to volunteer at Child & Family Center.  Debbie’s husband John is also an outspoken supporter of the agency, and the couple together has championed the center through golf tournaments, jazz concerts, and corporate family sponsorships.
