A Santa Clarita man hit the jackpot
winning more than $175,000 playing the California Lottery. 

The man, who asked to remain
anonymous, bought the Quick Pick Lottery ticket at a gas station in Agoura
Hills, but he lives in the SCV

The winning numbers were 1,8,16,37
and 20.

He plans to use his winnings on
college tuition and a new truck.

According to lottery officials, to
win the Fantasy Five jackpot a player must match five numbers out of a field of
thirty-nine.  Winning numbers are drawn
every day with the top prize starting at $50,000 and reaching upwards of
$500,000 depending on how many times the prize rolls over.
