Master's College Sports

In college basketball, The Master’s College women beat UC Merced, 88-72, and won their sixth game of the season.

Kelly Burns notched a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds.

Next up for the Lady Mustangs is Bethesda on Thursday night.

The Master’s College men beat Simpson, 66-57. The Mustangs improved to 7-2.

Derrick Fain scored 15 points off the bench.

The Master’s College plays Simpson in an early-season rematch on Friday night.

In the NBA, the Clippers beat the Philadelphia 76ers, 94-83, behind a 25-point night from Chris Paul. He also dished out 13 assists.

The Clippers are 2-2 on their current seven-game road trip. They are in Boston for a game against the Celtics on Wednesday night.

In the NHL, the Kings are north of the border to play the Montreal Canadiens tonight. The Kings are coming off a 3-0 shutout over the New York Islanders on Saturday night and have a three-game winning streak.
