Red Flag Warning Extended Through Tuesday
High winds continue through canyons and passes, higher than normal temperatures expected.
A Red Flag Warning that started last week has been extended
through Tuesday due to high winds in the area.
According to the National Weather Service, a strong upper
level high pressure system centered off the coast of
pressures will cause moderate to strong
winds to continue below and through passes and canyons of
Winds are expected to taper off Tuesday, but warm
temperatures are expected to continue.
The high winds, dry brush and warmer than normal
temperatures make for dangerous, high fire conditions in the Santa Clarita and
Santa Clara River valleys.
