    The Emergency Expo fills COC parking lot with demonstrations.

     

    “Get prepared” was the basic message of Santa Clarita’s Emergency Expo that was held on Saturday, and the vendors on site delivered quite a bit of motivation to do just that.

     

    Big Read Events

    Saturday, April 14th,  KHTS had a host of special guests read sections of his novel Fahrenheit 451 on air. The event was a part of the national “Big Read” effort, which aims at promoting reading in select cities.

    Expo Passport Winner Gets Trip To Hawaii!

     

    KHTS and All-Travel.com presented contest winner Christine Rife with a trip to Hawaii! Christine won the trip through the Expo Passport Contest. The contest was held at the Business Expo and involved picking up a "passport" listing of businesses from KHTS and visiting them at the expo.

    The Hawaii vacation includes air and hotel! Congratulations to Christine Rife, KHTS and All-Travel's Grand Prize winner!

    9-11 Memorial Service at Fire Station 126 - September 11, 2006

    Rep. Howard P. “Buck” McKeon joined officials, residents and first responders from Santa Clarita for a memorial service commemorating the 5th anniversary of the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
    The memorial was held at L.A. County Fire Station #126 located on Citrus Street in Valencia.
