The City of Santa Clarita threw a Vegas night, complete with showgirls, Elvis, Frank Sinatra and a faux wedding, all in the name of fun. The event was part of the Third Thursday "Senses" series, where Main Street is blocked between 6th and Market Streets and the party goes on from 7 to 11.

Canyon Country resident Tony Marincola represents the 17th Airborne Division at the annual SCV Memorial Day observance at Eternal Valley Memorial Park. Marincola, 94, survived the Battle of the Bulge and also served in the 101st and 82nd Airborne Brigades before coming home in 1945.
