Pro Soccer Players Will Visit Children's Hospital
Chivas USA Players, Maykel Galindo, Alex Zotinca, Anthony Hamilton, Jorge Flores, Bobby Burling, and Sam Reynolds to visit CHLA on Tuesday, February 19, 2008
The Michael Hoefflin Foundation is pleased to announce that 6 players of Chivas USA, Maykel Galindo, Alex Zotinca, Anthony Hamilton, Jorge Flores, Bobby Burling, and Sam Reynolds will make a visit to Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. The professional soccer players will pay a visit to patients in the Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases.
The Michael Hoefflin Foundation has made regular visits to Childrens Hospital in the past with other professional sports teams. The Michael Hoefflin Foundation is happy to partner with Chivas USA of Major League Soccer, bringing a moment of joy to the children and their families in the Cancer Center.
The Michael Hoefflin Foundation is a public non-profit 501 (c) (3) foundation that provides financial and emotional support to children and their families facing childhood cancer in the Santa Clarita and surrounding valleys. The Foundation strives to educate the public and provide grant funding for innovative research to accelerate progress in the fight against pediatric cancer. Currently the Foundation serves nearly 300 families actively struggling with pediatric cancer, with new referrals coming in weekly.
