Fire grows quickly, but doused by Fire Department.
A fire broke out this afternoon in Acton off of the 14 freeway and Santiago Road.
The fire was a result of an injury car accident that sent flames into the grass on the side of the freeway.
A trailer park in the vicinity was at one point threatened, however was not damaged.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department pulled out all the stops to beat the fire, which grew from 1/4 acre to 10 acres very quickly.
Northbound 14 traffic was impacted, as firefighters battled the blaze from the freeway and blocked the right lanes.
