Congratulations, Kris Rincon of Canyon High for being “Player of the Week”.
 
Kris Rincon had 13 points and 13 rebounds in the Canyon Cowboys 58-44 win over the
Valencia Vikings in boys basketball on Tuesday, February 7th.  The victory allowed the Cowboys to share first place with the Vikings in the Foothill League.
 
Rincon was the Canyon Cowboys leading scorer, 15.1 points per game, re-bounder and defender in boys basketball this season.  He played an important role in the Cowboys
64-56 win over the Hart Indians to secure the Foothill League Championship for the Cowboys on Thursday, February 9th.  
 
Congratulations, Kris, from Lockheed Federal Credit Union and KHTS AM-1220!
 
For his performance, Lockheed Federal Credit Union will donate $250 to the Canyon High School booster club.
