This weekend, the Sound of Music takes center stage, and its young performers rise to the challenge.
The Sound of Music is a legendary piece of entertainment history, and it will make a live appearance in Santa Clarita at the Hart High School Auditorium this weekend for five shows.
The show is an E.S.C.A.P.E production, which stands for Experience Santa Clarita’s Actor’s Performing Ensemble. The program teaches children dancing, singing and acting skills, and culminates their three month session with a big performance.
Traditionally, the children have put on their shows to rave reviews, and word on the street is that this show will be no different.
Some nights have already sold out, but tickets can still be purchased for open nights by calling 299-5264.
Opening night is Friday, January 19th at 7:00pm, and there will be 2:00 and 7:00 shows Saturday and Sunday.
