Canyon Cowboys Move On To State Finals [1]

The CIF announced on Sunday, the Canyon Cowboys will move on to the State Championship next weekend. The Cowboys defeated the Moorpark Musketeers in a thrilling come from behind 24-22 victory on Saturday night.

Canyon will play De La Salle from Concord, California. The game will be on Saturday, December 16th at 7:30pm at the Home Depot Center.  This is the first California State Championship played since 1927. Three schools from Northern California have been chosen to face three schools from Southern California, each covering a different division (based on school enrollment). Canyon is in Division I.
