“Boots and Bowties” Take Stage to Benefit Providence Medical Centers [1]

On Saturday, October 28^th, the Gene Autry Museum was the sight of Providence Holy Cross, and Providence Saint Joseph’s “Boots and Bowties” fundraising Gala.

The night brought together sponsors and auction bidders for food, fun, and contribution to

Providence ’s mission of quality healthcare.

 

The Gala presents a Hero of Hope award every year, and this year the recipient was the Fritz B. Burns Foundation, who donated nearly $5.5 million to

Providence hospitals. That money was used to keep Providence on the forefront of advances in medical technology and care.

 

Matthew and Gunnar Nelson served as the musical guests for the evening. They are the most recent members of their family to record a number 1 hit, having done so in the early 90’s. Their father Rick Nelson and their grandparents Ozzie and Harriet Nelson also had number one hits.

 

Providence Medical Centers provide the

San Fernando Valley , Santa Clarita Valley and beyond in an array of areas that include specialized care such as an open-catchment Trauma Center , a level three Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and the Heart and Vascular Institute of Providence Saint Joseph.

 

2007 events include the

Providence Holy Cross Foundation Golf Classic on April 2^nd and the Providence Saint Joseph Foundation Golf Classic on June 11^th.
