Officials educate residents of state’s Safely Surrendered Baby Law
Alarmed by the dead newborn baby found in a trash can in May, several Newhall teens expressed concern Thursday with how their peers are educated about pregnancy. Fifteen-year-old Nubia Rojas of Newhall said that aside from counseling and education in health classes, she knew of no other resource for teens to talk about not getting pregnant.
