The event is free to the public and includes more than 250 vendors who are there to sell their products and share information about their businesses. It is located at the Valencia Hyatt Convention Center and is open from 10 to 4 Sunday.
Bryan Trock, Motoring Advisor for Mini of Valencia said his company was there to promote the recently opened dealership.
“We are here to get the word out that Mini of Valencia is in town,” Trock said. ”We have free car washes at the dealership for all Mini owners and are raffling a $500 American Express gift card today.”
Mini of Valencia donated an old Grand Am yesterday for the “Jaws of Life” demonstration by local firefighters, Trock said.
Jim McGuire and his wife Arlene, owners of Wood-N-Tole, were at the Arts and Crafts Fair displaying and selling a number of pictures Jim has made out of wood.
“I make pictures in wood using a scroll saw. I’ve been doing this for 30-35 years and my wife and I started doing craft fairs about 5 or 6 years ago. We have a lot of fun doing it. “
The Arts and Crafts Fair was awash with other unique products including wine bottle medallions by “Me ’n Co,” headwear by “Alex Hats” and more made by local artisans.

Inside the Hyatt, a number of companies were displaying their home improvement items such as spas and air conditioning units.
Micheal Avalos General Manager for Rowland Air, was there to help spread information about his company, which has appeared at all of the past Home and Garden Shows.
“We are a local heating and air conditioning company,” Avalos said. “We are here to promote Rowland air and our energy efficient products.“
Also indoors, Mary Gregory, Independent Director of an independent Scentsy company, was sharing fragrant scents with interested attendees.
“We sell warmers and fragrant wax, wickless and flameless products that are safe for the home,” Gregory said. “We love supporting the Home and Garden show and the community. We get a lot of good leads from being here and it is great for business.”
Parking is available behind the bus station next to the Valencia Hyatt. Parking and entrance to the event are free. The Home and Garden Show and Arts and Crafts Fair will remain open until 4 on Sunday.
