The artwork featured in this display provides a glimpse into today’s Native American culture, while honoring the past as well.
“It’s an interesting exhibit showcasing a variety of art ranging from photography, painting, sculpture, digitally manipulated images, and much more. It’s an exhibit for anyone who has an interest in Native American art. There will be a chance for the public to talk and meet the artists,” said Jeff Barber, City Of Santa Clarita Arts and Events Supervisor.
Artists Nadiya Littlewarrior, Ken Lubas, Peggy Fontenot, and Michael Chas Williams are expected to be featured in the show. The exhibit is planned to be on display through Feb. 5, 2014.
The reception is planned to feature complimentary appetizers and refreshments, live music and an opportunity to mix and mingle with the artists.
The Old Town Newhall Library is located at 24500 Main Street, Santa Clarita, CA 9132.
