VIA President and CEO, Kathy Norris, was optimistic about the addition of Kreger and Jacobsen.
“With backgrounds in finance and legal dealings, respectively, they bring great insights to the table,” Norris stated.
“I believe they will add excellent dynamics to the board,” Norris continued.
The VIA is a business-networking organization, Norris said.
“We’re a business to business organization dedicated to building and connecting Santa Clarita Valley industries,” Norris said.
Together, Kreger and Jacobsen bring a wealth of experience with them.
Kreger has been with American Family Funding as a mortgage consultant for nearly 10 years, as well as serving as the branch manager for the Credit Union division.
As branch manager for the Credit Union division, Kreger has many responsibilities, which includes supervising organization, processing, member care and credit union and financial portfolios.
Kreger has more than 20 years of experience in both operations and customer service. Kreger uses his 20-plus years of experience to train loan officers and credit unions in sale skills and customer service.
Kreger also held the title president of the California Association of Mortgage Professionals.
Jacobsen, a member of the Los Angeles County and Santa Clarita Valley bar association, has vast experience in entity formation, shareholder agreements, real estate property purchase and development, and estate planning, according to a VIA news release.
Jacobsen is also a partner with Poole & Shaffery LLP.
While with Poole & Shaffery LLP, Jacobsen worked with a number of different clients in various industries, ranging from aviation to real estate.
As members of the VIA board, Kreger and Jacobsen will help to provide VIA with leadership and direction.
